Smirnoff has decided to break years of standard irrelevance to the hip-hop community by breathing some life into the genre with their “signature mix series.”.The vodka company is pairing some of hip-hop’s greatest rappers with hip-hop’s greatest producers to re-interperate their hits. This week it’s Common and Just Blaze with a re-imagining of his Like Water for Chocolate classic, “The Light.” The new version is hot, but the original is one of my favorite songs of all time. This would be tite if it didn’t involve Smirnoff.
this sounds just like “pretty lil sexy mama” on Consequences album…and i like the original better too, Just Blaze recycled that shit..still hot though
